Natural Wedding Photographer in Essex
For more years than I can remember, I've been asked by friends, family, and through client recommendations, if I would be their wedding photographer. Of course. How could I ever say no?
With more and more people now asking me, I thought it was about time I offered my wedding photographer services to those who are looking for natural wedding images, full of real emotions, relaxed poses in a timeless style.
Let me tell you about my approach to wedding photography and show you my style...
Phil Jones Wedding Photography
I’m not your typical wedding photographer.
I have worked as a professional photographer since 2010, not just photographing weddings but working as a commercial and advertising photographer creating images for hairstylists, makeup artists, and all types of businesses.
I also absolutely love creating fantasy and cinematic images. I’ve been told many times that my style of photography lends itself to create fairytale inspired wedding photography. I also have years of experience working with models, to produce quality images for their portfolios as you will see if you look through my other portfolios.
Fun, natural, and relaxed wedding photography
Of course, I bring all this experience with me to create fun, natural, and relaxed images that people love.
No two individuals are ever the same, so why should your wedding be? My approach is to meet with you and get to know you a little bit so that your wedding images reflect your personalities and, of course, tells the story of your wedding day.
I’m not a bossy or in-your-face wedding photographer
This is me, hard at work. Believe it or not, photographing weddings is pretty exhausting and normally very long days, but it's important for me to do my best to blend in as one of the guests, although that can be quite difficult with my two cameras and telephoto lenses.
I once had a really lovely compliment by a wedding guest who said I don’t order people around like a Sergeant Major which he has seen at so many weddings. I want you, and your guests to enjoy every moment of the day, and that includes the bit when the group photos are taken, and let’s be honest, not everyone enjoys having their photo taken. I’m someone who can calm any nerves and who knows how to put your camera-shy friends and family at ease. I also know when to art direct you, and your wedding party; and when to be a fly on the wall. I want you all to enjoy yourselves and have the best ever time.
Wedding photography timings
There are lots of photographers who say they don’t clock watch, I’ve got to be honest, I do. I’m certainly not counting down the hours before it’s home time but I do know how important it is for your big day to run on time. I’m not the kind of photographer who overruns and keeps the kitchen staff wondering what time the guests are going to sit down for their food!
Pricing
How much? The question on everyone's lips. I don't have a Wedding Package as such, as I said earlier, every wedding is unique and every couple asks for something slightly different. Your taste in wedding albums will be different to your Aunty Flo, I want you to be able to personalise your products, to match your style of wedding.
Pre Wedding, Engagement, and Couple Shoots
Pre Wedding, Engagement, and Couple Shoots
Prices start at £400 which includes:
• A fun two-hour photoshoot
• Edited watermark-free images
• An Online password-protected gallery
• Full printing and sharing rights
• A USB drive of your edited images
This is a great way for us to get get to know each other, not only does it also show you how I work, and if I'm the right photographer for you, it also helps me to get to know you a little better and will help you prepare for your wedding day and helps you get used to the camera. Not only do you spend time with me, (I know, right) you also get to spend time with your other half, laughing, relaxing, and having a fun time together.
Full-Day Weddings
Full-day Weddings
My Full-day Wedding Coverage costs £1,500 which includes:
• Pre Wedding Consultation to discuss your ideas for the big day
• Photography from bridal preparation until the first dance (up to 10 hours)
• A minimum of 300 watermark-free images - Honestly, I never count, I believe in quality over quantity
• An Online password-protected gallery to allow you, your family, and friends to view all of your photographs and order prints and printed products.
• Full printing and sharing rights
• A USB drive of your edited images
Please note this excludes an album. There are so many styles of albums available and everyone has different tastes. Once you have had a chance to carefully look at your wedding photography, I ask you to pick a selection of your favourite images from the wedding. I then carefully produce layouts on each page that tell the story of your day.
Elopement and Small Weddings
Elopement and Small Weddings:
Big Full-day weddings aren't for everyone, especially these days. An intimate wedding starts at £600 which includes:
• Pre Wedding Consultation to discuss your ideas for the big day
• Photography which includes: Ceremony coverage, Wedding Couple Photos, Family and Friends Group Photos, Confetti (up to 4 hours)
• Edited watermark-free images
• An Online password-protected gallery to allow you, your family, and friends to view all of your photographs and order prints and printed products.
• Full printing and sharing rights
• A USB drive of your edited images
All prices include travel within Essex.
Professional Wedding Connections
Most of the time I shoot weddings by myself but I also work closely with other professionals in the industry including hairstylist, Wedding Hair by Tara who I would highly recommend, as well as Makeup artists and second photographers. I'm happy to help you as much as I can as you plan your big day by sharing my experience and help make it run as smoothly as possible.
